For years, curl care was an afterthought in men’s grooming: a travel-size add-on, rarely formulated with the care given to skin or fragrance. Apollo exists because that gap deserved more than a gap. We formulate with restraint, refined until we were certain of it, for men who would rather own one thing they trust than a shelf of things they don’t.
Who We Serve
Made for the men the industry overlooked.
Curl patterns were, for decades, an edge case in men’s grooming, addressed by whatever happened to also work on straight hair, or not addressed at all. Apollo No. 1 was formulated specifically for defined, textured curl: enough hold to last the day, enough movement to still look like hair. It isn’t a men’s product that happens to work on curls. It was built around them from the first batch.
The Discipline
One idea, followed all the way through.
A house can express itself through speed, or through resolve. We chose resolve. Apollo No. 1 spent longer in development than most brands give an entire year’s collection, because we’d rather release one formulation we stand behind completely than several we’re still adjusting in public. What comes next will be held to the same standard: given as long as it takes, never rushed simply to have more to offer.
